What is a PHO
PHOs are organisations that plan, coordinate and fund primary health care. They are responsible for the health needs of their local communities. PHOs mainly involve health and medical centres and are increasingly involving other health care providers such as physiotherapists, podiatrists, pharmacists, dentists and other groups.
